This is exactly what I needed, I really relate to this story and had a huge addiction to YouTube in the past. It’s one of those bad habits that comes and goes in cycles and one that I have struggled to break. This afternoon I spent some time mindlessly watching YouTube videos and coping by saying I was “learning” and this article came at the perfect time. Appreciate it Nihad!

Haha it happens to all of us.

It is especially hard to break when YouTube has been very useful to you in the past. You think it's okay to watch YouTube because "I might just learn something that will change my life for the better".

This probably happened to you before, that's how most most people discover self-improvelent and other ideas that change their mindset. That can happen, but still, unless I am looking up a specific tutorial, I consider watching YouTube to be just entertainment. At the end of the day, this is something that comes after work.

So then, the question you should focus on is "Is this the right time for entertainment?" If you still have important tasks to complete, the answer is no. If you have an hour of spare time after work, then it might be the right time for entertainment that uplifts you.
